The Office of Liturgy has supplied diocesan parishes with 13 special bulletin inserts to expand upon topics outlined in "We Have Come to Worship Him: Implementation of the General Instruction of the Roman Missal in the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw." It is suggested that the handouts linked on this page will also be distributed to parishioners on the 13 consecutive Sunday dates suggested. (Note: This page will provide links to the inserts, which will be activated in PDF format in conjunction with the suggested dates of release.) The GIRM was promulgated by decree from Bishop Robert J. Carlson on June 4, 2006 to be fully implemented by the First Sunday of Advent, Dec. 3, 2006.
