At times, everyone experiences difficult and transitional situations. BeFriender Ministry offers a caring companion to listen, empathize, and be a reminder of a loving and supportive faith community.
Befriender ministers are trained listeners who offer support to people through active listening, prayer and presence. An informational evening is being offered to share the history of Befrienders in the Diocese of Saginaw, an overview of the program, what to expect in a training and stories from Befriender Ministers on how this has impacted their lives and ministry. The meeting is being held at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Saginaw on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 7 p.m. Join us to prayerfully discover how God may be calling you to this amazing ministry. No commitment is required.
COST & CONTACT: There is no cost to attend but registration is necessary. For more information or to register please contact Lori Becker, Respect Life Coordinator at 989.797.6652.
