Caring for individuals at the end of their lives requires a special understanding of needs, grieving and loss as well as the unique concerns of the family. Pastoral Care 102 is the second workshop in the series of Pastoral Care Training and will focus on providing spiritual care to the dying, a deeper understanding of caregiver self-care and of hospice and palliative care. A certificate of completion will be given to all those attending. All those who visit the sick, elderly and homebound and have completed Pastoral Care 101 are encouraged to attend. The workshop will be held at the Center for Ministry on Saturday, January 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
