Spirituality in Ministry - Care that seeks to affirm the value of each and every person based on nonjudgmental love. Pastoral Relatedness is that special quality of the pastoral relationship that helps a person access his or her deeper spiritual self and experience God's care and is the essence of pastoral care. The person and the skills of the minister enable a person to freely share his or her private concerns and have them heard. This helps the individual to cope with his or her situation and facilitates supportive ministry. All those in pastoral care ministries are welcome, including; Befrienders, Grief Facilitators/Support, Lay Ecclesial Ministers, Deacons, Pastoral Ministers and Walking with Moms. Our time together begins with a continental breakfast and fellowship, followed by reflection, enrichment and prayer. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
GUEST SPEAKER: Bill O'Brien, Executive Director, Strangers No Longer
