The St. John's Bible: The Art of Writing a Complete Bible by Hand

Center for Ministry

Join Father José Cabrera for an engaging exploration of the St. John's Bible – a truly unique edition of
Sacred Scripture and a true masterpiece of art. The St. John's Bible is a modern English version of the Bible
made with the same calligraphy techniques from 500 years ago – the age before the printing press was
invented by Gutenberg. It is the most recently completed handwritten Bible in existence. Father José earned
his Licentiate in Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He currently serves as the pastor
of All Saints Parish in Bay City.
