For centuries we have taught that "as we worship, so we believe, and so we live." Join Sr. Esther Mary Nickel for an exploration of key moments in the history of Catholic liturgical celebrations of the Mass, the Sacraments and the devotional life of the Church. This seminar will help us appreciate how faith leads us to a fervent worship of God, which becomes fruitful through a greater love and concern for our neighbor. Sr. Nickel is a member of the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, and holds a doctoral degree in Sacred Liturgy from the Pontifical Atheneum of St. Anselm, Rome. She previously taught at Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado and currently serves as Associate to the Director of the Office of Liturgy in the Diocese of Saginaw.
