Theology of the Body Seminar with Christopher West

On May 7, you are invited to join Dr. Christopher West for a 1:00-3:00 pm seminar on the Theology of the Body at the Center for Ministry in Saginaw. Theology of the Body is St. John Paul II's soaring vision of our deepest human identity, exploring God's beautiful plan for authentic love, human sexuality, and the beauty of both the marital and celibate vocations. Dr. West is the author of multiple best-selling books on this subject, as well as being the co-founder of the Theology of the Body Institute. This seminar, which is geared towards adults, will be especially enriching for clergy, directors of parish life, teachers, Religious, parents and all lay people, especially those involved in diocesan, parish and Catholic school ministries. This seminar is now open to the general public, and there is no cost for attending (although free will offerings are gratefully accepted at the door). Please note that by registering for this event, you are giving permission for the Theology of the Body Institute to receive your e-mail address. Note: This workshop is distinct from the May 7 Theology of the Body event with Christopher West at 6:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marlette, which involves a concert format with Theology of the Body content woven into the musical experience.
