Upcoming Youth Events:
The National March for Life trip has been CANCELLED due to lack of interest (originally scheduled for January 23rd-25th, 2025). We will look to regroup and focus on state-wide and local opportunities in 2025 and beyond.
March 15th, 2025: ANCHOR Michigan Middle School Youth Conference, Grand Rapids
- Join hundreds of other 6th-8th grade youth from all over the state to powerfully encounter Jesus.
- Featuring national speakers, such as Catholic influencer Emily Wilson, Brian Greenfield, music by Encounter Worship, and Bishops from across Michigan. There will be plenty of fun, alongside opportunities for Mass, Confession, praise and worship, and prayer.
- Our bus(es) will leave at 7:15am and return at 9pm (though you are welcome to arrange your own travel).
- Cost: $40/person (Optional: $10 lunch and $10 T-shirt). Please bring pocket money for dinner at Woodland Mall's food court.

June 16th – 21st, 2025: Youth Encounter Service, St. Vincent De Paul Parish, Shepherd
- Join other Catholic high school youth to learn about and fight poverty, and reach out to the poor of Saginaw.
- Youth work in teams with the help of outreach organizations each day to repair a house in the city by putting up drywall, painting, limited construction (fix a sagging floor, or install new steps), and more.

Summer 2025: Steubenville Youth Conferences, Steubenville, Ohio
- Bring your youth to experience a life-changing encounter with Jesus (Promo Video).

November 20th-23rd, 2025: National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC), Indianapolis, Indiana
- Join 10,000+ high school students for THE event of the year (Promo Video). There will be mass, Adoration, Confession, the best speakers and musicians, fun, and more!
- The Diocese is booking 110 spots for youth and youth leaders. We will handle purchasing tickets (with a special discount), lodging, and travel for the entire Diocese. DO NOT purchase your own tickets.

Online Ministry Cohort for New(er) Youth Ministers: NFCYM "First Things" Group - Beginning on February 1st
- I recently learned that the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry leads a six-week online training program for new(er) youth ministers.
- Acting as basic training for youth ministers, it covers: working in a parish, understanding young people, planning programming, finding and managing volunteers, budgeting and fundraising, and more!
- Cost: $150 (includes a one-year Associate Membership to NFCYM - a $75 value)
