Here, as a teen, you can belong, discover Jesus, find healing, and make an impact as a leader. 

Our mission is to “make disciples”: for you to encounter Jesus and be transformed through following Him and His Church.

Upcoming Youth Events: 

July 6th: Arise Youth Festival “A Call to Martyrdom” 9am-2pm, Holy Family Parish, Saginaw 

  • Mass, Adoration, breakout sessions for boys and girls, and talks by Fr. Adam, and Taylor & Valentina Piotrzkowski 
  • ARISE will highlight the amazing lives of St. Maria Goretti and St. Lawrence 
  • For youth grades 5th-12th 
  • Cost: $10 (includes lunch & T-shirt), registration deadline July 5th

July 28th – August 2nd: Catholic Youth Summer Camp, Brighton 

  • Catholic Youth Summer Camp Great Lakes is the perfect mix of fun, adventure, and a powerful encounter with Jesus in His Church (Promo Video) 
  • The Diocese has only three subsidized spots remaining for middle school boys (6th-8th Grade this upcoming school year)

March 15th: ANCHOR Michigan Middle School Youth Conference, Grand Rapids 

  • Every Diocese in the lower peninsula is partnering to bring hundreds of youth to encounter Jesus 
  • The current event cost estimate is $40/person. 6th - 8th grade youth are welcome.

January 23rd - January 25th, 2025: National March for Life Trip, Washington DC 

  • 8th-12th grade youth, young adults, and families are invited to champion mothers and the unborn 
  • The current cost estimate is $330/person

Young Adult Ministry Label

Here, as a young adult, you can find faithful friends, grow together, have an impact, and discover your vocation. 

Throughout the Diocese, we have four strong young adult groups in Saginaw, Sandusky, Harbor Beach, and Bad Axe. 

If you’re a young adult (18-35) that’s new or looking to grow spiritually, we would love to personally connect with you! Taylor, our Coordinator of Youth & Young Adult ministry, will buy you a meal or coffee to get to know you. You can reach him at (989) 797-6639 or email him HERE

  • Meeting every first Thursday of the month at rotating parishes in the tri-city area 
  • Two small groups also meet weekly (email us at idsaginaw@gmail.com to join one)

Holy Family Young Adult Group, Sandusky 

  • Meetings every Wednesday at St. Joseph's from 7:00-8:30pm 
  • Join us for video/Bible study, snacks, and small group discussions 
  • Regular social and service events on the weekends as well

Holy Name of Mary Parish Young Adult Group, Helena & Harbor Beach 

  • Meet every first Friday of the month at 6pm 
  • Join us for food, talks, community, and prayer opportunities

St. Hubert Young Adult Women's Group, Bad Axe 

  • Meets every fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at St. Hubert’s Parish Hall 
  • Only women are welcome
