The Finance Office directs all financial functions of the Diocese and is responsible for:
- All diocese financial statements and transactions
- Accounts payable and receivables
- Payroll
- Implementation and maintenance of the diocese budget
- Cash and Investment Management
The Finance Office does not oversee Christ's Mission Appeal. Questions about the appeal should be directed to the Development Office.
The Finance Office oversees:
Parish and School Financial Consulting
Provides advice and recommendations regarding record keeping and procedures for handling parish finances
Advisory Boards
Provides advice and recommendations for the Diocesan Finance Council, Catholic Community Foundation of Mid Michigan, St. Francis Home, Catholic Family Services, investment committees, Catholic Cemeteries and Little Books
Financial Statements
Audited financial statements that reflect the financial position of the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw
