SAGINAW, MI — The Catholic Diocese of Saginaw invites community members, parishioners, and friends to gather for **Evensong 2026: The Gifts of the Holy Spirit**, taking place tonight, **Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM**. Hosted at **Holy Spirit Parish** (1035 N. River Road, Saginaw, MI), the special evening features Bishop Gruss alongside the priests of the Diocese of Saginaw.
Organizers emphasize that Evensong is designed not as a traditional concert, but as an immersive experience of prayer. The priests will sing and play instruments, blending sacred music with Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and visual elements. Attendees are encouraged to pray and sing along throughout the service.
Admission & Offering: The event is free and open to everyone, with ample seating and parking across two lots. A free-will offering will be collected to support seminarian education.
