Maria Coss, mission coordinator for the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw, will travel this weekend with fellow missionaries from the organization "Strangers No Longer" to the Arizona-Mexico border. They will attend a bi-national meeting with fellow immigration advocates. Strangers No Longer is a Detroit- based network of parishes and congregations that advocates for immigration rights.
Maria and fellow members of Strangers No Longer received a blessing from Archbishop Weisenburger during Mass for the Jubilee of Migrants at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit on Oct. 5. Read more about this Mass here.
