The Columbiettes are a Catholic women's auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, originally founded in 1939 to work alongside the Knights of Columbus in service to the Church. As a unified body, they exist to promote spiritual, social, and intellectual values. Practically speaking, they're dedicated to doing "God's work" by promoting His love for all through tangible service. This includes aiding the parish in various ways, helping those less fortunate in the community, and standing as a strong voice for the protection of all life, both born and unborn. They also place a high value on fostering a deep sisterhood and building relationships that will last a lifetime. The Columbiettes are dedicated to their Patronesses, the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Therese of Lisieux and St. Joan of Arc.
According to State Deputy Barry Borsenik of the Michigan State Council of the Knights of Columbus, there is also a Columbiettes auxiliary at St. Patrick Parish in White Lake.
