Dr. Brant Pitre

DISTINGUISHED RESEARCH PROFESSOR OF SCRIPTURE

Dr. Brant Pitre is Distinguished Research Professor of Scripture at the Augustine Institute in Denver, CO. He earned his Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, where he specialized the study of the New Testament and ancient Judaism. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the EucharistThe Case for Jesus, and Introduction to the Spiritual Life.

Dr. Tim Gray

PRESIDENT, AUGUSTINE INSTITUTE

Tim Gray is President of the Augustine Institute and a well known Catholic speaker and author. He received an M.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Th.M. from Duke University, and Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Catholic University of America. He is the author of several books including Peter: Keys to Following Jesus and Praying Scripture for a Change: An Introduction to Lectio Divina.

Dr. Gwen Adams

VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF THEOLOGY

Dr. Adams is a teacher and writer, working in the intersection of faith and culture, with emphasis on parish life, education, and theater. She has served in a number of apostolic and academic endeavors, including positions as diocesan marriage tribunal advocate, youth minister, mentor of Catholic undergraduate households, and teacher on the high-school, undergraduate, and graduate levels.

Dr. Michael Barber

PROFESSOR OF SCRIPTURE AND THEOLOGY

Michael Barber is Professor of Scripture and Theology at the Augustine Institute. His most recent academic publication is Paul, A New Covenant Jew: Rethinking Pauline Theology, co-written with Brant Pitre and John Kincaid. In addition to his teaching, academic research, and publishing, he also gives popular-level presentations at Catholic conferences and parish events around the United States.
