Quo Vadis Camp inspires young men to deepen faith and discern God's call

More than 30 high school-aged young men gathered this week at Higgins Lake for Quo Vadis Camp, an overnight vocation camp designed to help participants grow in faith, virtue and discernment of God's call.

The camp, which concludes today, brought together teens entering grades 9–12 with seminarians and priests from the Dioceses of Saginaw and Gaylord. Through daily Mass, Eucharistic adoration, confession, prayer, talks and fraternity, campers were encouraged to listen for God's voice and consider how He may be calling them to serve.

On Thursday, July 9, Bishop Robert Gruss celebrated Mass with the campers and shared his own vocation story. He encouraged the young men to "be all in for Jesus" before joining them for a game of kickball as the camp's pitcher.

Quo Vadis Camp provides young men with an opportunity to build friendships, deepen their relationship with Christ and reflect on their vocation in a supportive environment.
