Youth from across the Diocese of Saginaw joined Bishop Robert Gruss on Aug. 8 for a day of faith, friendship and fun. The group began with a canoe trip through the scenic Cedar River before gathering for lunch at Gladwin City Park. Participants then took part in a Eucharistic Procession through the streets of Gladwin, praying and singing together. The day concluded with a 5 p.m. Vigil Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Gladwin. The event welcomed youth in grades 6-12 and their chaperones.
