The Diocese of Saginaw exists to courageously proclaim the living Gospel so that Jesus may lead people to salvation through his healing, love, and mercy. Communication is not simply a support function of that mission. It is one of the ways we evangelize — telling the stories of what Christ is doing in our parishes, schools and ministries, and inviting others into an encounter with him.
We are looking for more than an editor, writer or content producer. We are looking for a missionary storyteller — someone who understands that every story, photograph, video, podcast, social media post and magazine page can become an opportunity to lead someone closer to Jesus Christ.
This person will help tell the story of a Diocese on mission, guided by the vision and pastoral priorities of the Bishop — One Heart and Mind.
This is not simply a content-production role. It is a call to use the tools of modern communications boldly, creatively and faithfully in service to the Gospel.
