Bishop Gruss will preside at an Anniversary Mass in honor of the death of Bishop Cistone on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw. All are welcome.
Bishop Cistone served as the sixth Bishop of Saginaw from 2009 to 2018. He suddenly died on Oct. 16, 2018 in Saginaw, Mich. after a battle with lung cancer. Bishop Cistone was born on May 18, 1949.
