Black Catholic Ministry

Our diocese is made up of a very diverse group of the faithful, including the Black Catholic Community.

We minister to members of the local Black Catholic community by sponsoring workshops, presentations, events and more. An advisory committee,  which consists mostly of members of the local community, helps facilitate this ministry. For more information, contact our Office of Christian Service.

Early each year, there is a Black History Celebration sponsored by St. Joseph Parish in Saginaw, which includes Mass, a workshop and more. You may contact the parish for details.
