GOOD FRIDAY COMMUNITY CROSS WALK
APRIL 18, 2025
12:00 – 2:30 pm, followed by Liturgy of the Word
ALL AGES & DENOMINATIONS ARE INVITED
Hosted by St. Gabriel Parish Youth Ministry, Led by Fr. Marc Hopps
Come join us as we commemorate the Stations of the Cross by visibly walking in Jesus’ journey to His crucifixion. On our Walk through the community, we will pause to reflect on each station with prayer and song, leading us to the pinnacle of our recollection as we conclude our Walk with the celebration of Good Friday Liturgy.
- Participants will begin to gather at Western High School west parking lot, in front of the Middle School gymnasium at 11:45 am.
- Walk will begin at 12:00 pm, escorted by Bay County Sheriff’s Dept.
- Participant volunteers will carry large cross, stopping along the route to pray each Station of the Cross.
- Walk will end at St. Gabriel Parish followed by the Liturgy beginning at 3:00 pm. Transportation back to Western will be available.
Walk will occur rain or shine, or any other Michigan weather condition.
Please come dressed for the weather.
Strollers welcome. Restroom available near school parking lot.
