They provide guidance in how to build lives worth living. They teach how to manage suffering. They monitor and intervene when suicidal people come to them for help. They guide faith communities in how to support suicide survivors.
To equip faith leaders and faith advocates with the capabilities needed to prevent suicide, combat stigma, and provide care and comfort to all those affected by suicide, Kevin’s Song and its partners are offering A Light in the Darkness: Equipping Faith Leaders for Suicide Prevention and Post-Suicide Care. Attendance at this workshop and training program is limited to faith ministers and faith advocates and requires a separate registration.
