Evangelization through the Genesis Mission

Get Involved Locally

The Genesis Mission is an initiative to nurture and develop discipleship through preparation for mission, in the simplest possible way, using the gifts we have already been given as children of God.The process includes a 7-week formation period in a small group followed by monthly meetings. After formation you may discern that you would like to lead a group in your parish. If you would like more information about the Genesis Mission and how to to join a formation group, contact Peg McEvoy, Coordinator of Faith Formation for the Diocese of Saginaw at pmcevoy@dioceseofsaginaw.org or 989.797.6608.

The Genesis Mission is an effective approach to personal growth and sharing your faith in daily life. It works in a very simple and practical way that is uniquely adaptable to every baptized person; dismissing the myth that evangelizing is only for those with “the gift” and enabling each and every faithful Catholic to proactively share in the Great Commission.
