On July 25, the memorial of St. James the Apostle, the Adoration Chapel will be transferred from its current location to the St. James Chapel at All Saints Parish in Bay City. The New Adoration Chapel at St. James Church
Eucharistic Adoration is a devotional practice in which the faithful spend time in silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament exposed in a monstrance. The faithful can sign up for specific periods of time to ensure someone is always keeping vigil; others may choose to drop into the chapel at any time.
To accommodate the new Adoration Chapel, St. James Church at All Saints Parish is installing a new security door for direct access at the intersection on Monroe Street and Columbus Avenue. New interior doors, video cameras and sidewalk repairs also guarantee safety and ease of accessibility.
