Robotics picture State 2016BAY CITY- April 21- The All Saints Central Robotics Team 6193, of All Saints Middle and High School in Bay City, recently qualified for the FIRST Championship, a worldwide robotics competition taking place in St. Louis, Mo. from April 27-30. The team has won numerous awards and according to Principal Brian Campbell, "experiencing this much success in one year is remarkable."

This past weekend, Team 6193 competed at the State level in Grand Rapids and earned the right to compete with the world's best. Only four teams from the Great Lakes Bay Region qualified, and All Saints is the only rookie team and the only team from Bay County to do so. Team 6193, The Legends of Robotics, led by Coach Lynne Greathouse, will travel with teams from all over the globe to compete in the World Competition.

Greathouse says "During this amazing season, it has been rewarding to observe students using their unique talents, gaining confidence, gelling as a team, and succeeding. Attending the World Competition allows us to encounter and appreciate robotics on an even larger scale."
