SAGINAW- July 15- Last night, Bishop Cistone joined with people of all faiths at The New Ezekiel Project Uplifting Peace Rally.
The rally was organized by The Ezekiel Project Saginaw, an ecumenical organization in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Community leaders and all those throughout our area who view themselves as instruments of peace were in attendance.
Bishop Cistone spoke these words last night, "History has demonstrated a world cast in violence, wrongly accepted and justified. In recent times, our world in turmoil was manifested in the tragedies of Orlando, Istanbul, and Dallas now brought home in the calamity found in Falcon Heights, Minnesota; Kalamazoo, Michigan and the streets of Saginaw. Let there be peace, and let it begin with me."
