Starting at 9 a.m. on Easter Sunday, church bells throughout the Diocese of Saginaw will ring.

This three-minute-long full peal of church bells provides the opportunity to celebrate Easter in a moment of solidarity for faithful throughout the 11 counties of the Diocese of Saginaw.

Families with bells in their homes are also invited to ring them during this time.

(Written in the 13th Century when serving as the Bishop of Chichester)

Thanks be to You, my Lord Jesus Christ

for all the pains and insults You have borne for me.

O most merciful Redeemer, friend and brother,

may I know You more clearly,

love You more dearly,

follow You more nearly.

Amen!

Leader: May Easter joy resound in every heart and throughout the Diocese of Saginaw.

All: In Jesus, crucified and risen.  Amen.  Alleluia!
