Deacon Todd Lovas earns Master’s degree from Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology

Fifty-five graduates of Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, St. Meinrad, IN, were awarded Master’s degrees at the commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11. Dr. Kimberly Baker, associate professor of Patristics at Saint Meinrad, gave the address.

For the Diocese of Saginaw, Deacon Todd Lovas, of Shepherd, MI, received a Master of Arts (Theology) degree with a Certificate in Liturgical and Sacramental Theology from Saint Meinrad’s Graduate Theology Program. The Graduate Theology Program offers master’s degrees and graduate certificates in theology to lay persons and permanent deacons.

Deacon Todd Lovas was ordained to the permanent diaconate on June 11, 2017. He currently serves as Director of Parish Life at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Shepherd, MI.
