Diocese of Saginaw Clerical and Parish Assignments

Most Reverend Robert D. Gruss, Bishop of Saginaw, announces the following clerical and parish assignments, effective July 1, 2020:

Senior Priests

Reverend David Parsch, from Pastor, Resurrection of the Lord Parish, Standish/Alger, to Senior Priest.

Reverend Robert Schikora from Pastor, Holy Family Parish, Sandusky/Marlette/Peck to Senior Priest.

Pastors

Reverend Andrew Booms, assigned Pastor of St. Mary University Parish, Mt. Pleasant. He will retain his position as Pastor of St. Brigid Parish, Midland.

Reverend Christopher Coman from Pastor of Holy Apostles Parish, Ruth/Forestville and St. Isidore Parish, Parisville/Palms to Pastor of St. Christopher Parish, Caro/Mayville.

Reverend William Rutkowski from Rector of the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, Saginaw to Pastor of St. John Paul II Parish, Carrollton and Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Saginaw. He will retain his position as Vicar General and Director of Seminarians.
 
Reverend Prentice Tipton, return from service outside the Diocese of Saginaw to Rector of the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption and Pastor of Holy Family Parish, Saginaw.

Reverend Ronald Wagner from Pastor of St. John Paul II Parish, Carrollton and Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Saginaw to Pastor of Resurrection of the Lord Parish, Standish/Alger.

Chaplain

Reverend Adam Maher from Parochial Vicar of Holy Apostles Parish, Ruth/Forestville and St. Isidore Parish, Parisville/Palms to Chaplain in Campus Ministry at Nouvel Catholic Central High School, Campus Ministry at Saginaw Valley State University and Assistant Vocation Director.

Reverend Stephen Blaxton from Parochial Vicar, St. Dominic Parish, Saginaw to Parochial Administrator of Holy Family Parish, Sandusky/Marlette/Peck.

Reverend Edwin Dwyer from Parochial Administrator pro tem of St. Cyril Parish, Bannister to Parochial Administrator of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Ithaca/Perrinton. He will retain his position in the Tribunal.

Reverend Matthew Federico from Parochial Vicar of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Saginaw and St. John Paul II Parish, Saginaw, to Parochial Administrator of Holy Apostles Parish, Ruth/Forestville and St. Isidore Parish, Parisville/Palms.

Reverend Michael Steltenkamp, S.J. to remain Parochial Administrator pro tem until further notice.

Anointing Minister

Reverend Thai Nguyen from Sacramental Minister at Holy Family Parish, Saginaw to
Anointing Minister at Covenant Hospital and St. Mary Hospital, Saginaw. Will retain his position as chaplain of St. Francis Home.
