Migrant Farm Worker Families Gather for Annual Migrant Mass in Caro

CARO- Several migrant farm worker families joined Fr. Christian Tabares and the Office of Hispanic Ministry recently at the annual Migrant Mass on Aug. 11.

Vicente Miranda, a fellow migrant worker, has hosted the Mass at his summer residence for the past three years. Mass was followed by a lovely potluck dinner. The migrant families appreciate the care and openness they are shown every summer in the Diocese of Saginaw.

Our migrant brothers and sisters are grateful for the food, clothing, and monetary donations made by parishioners throughout the diocese that assist them throughout the summer. They look forward to coming again next summer to tend to and harvest the many organic crops throughout the thumb region of Michigan.
