Record Number of Faithful Gather for 10th Annual Dinner Banquet

The annual dinner event to raise funds to support seminarian education was held on September 17 at Curtiss Hall on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. Over 300 attended the sold-out event. Bishop Cistone expressed his gratitude to patrons for their prayerful financial support for seminarian education. He praised the seminarians for their courage and dedication as they follow the Voice of the Holy Spirit in their lives. He discussed the challenges the seminarians face today and their training to be evangelizers to a confused world. Bishop Cistone also entertained guests with his singing and guitar playing.

Rev. Robert Howe, regional vicar of Vicariate 1 and pastor of St. Hubert Parish, shared reflections from his vocations story and years as a priest for the Diocese of Saginaw.
