Three Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Michigan, Profess Perpetual Vows at Cathedral

SAGINAW— Three women professed their Perpetual Vows as Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Michigan, on Wednesday, Aug. 16, during Mass at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw.</p> <p>For the three women, the profession of vows was the culmination of eight years of religious formation along with normal professional education. The young women who hold or are currently working toward advanced degrees, will use their education to help serve the needs of the Church in whatever capacity that they are asked. The Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, celebrated the Mass. The women who professed are Sister Mary Benedicta Maier, RSM, Sister Maria Pacis Polakovic, RSM, and Sister Mary Lisa Renfer, RSM.
