Would you like your middle school student to draw closer to God?

The diocesan Office of Youth Ministry is hosting a one-day Lenten retreat for students in grades 6-8 based upon the Scripture:

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. (Peter 2:6-7)

What does it mean for Jesus to be the cornerstone, and how is this passage relevant in the lives of young people today? The middle school retreat will guide young people to uncover these answers and more through hands-on activities, faith-sharing, Reconciliation, Mass, music and adoration.
