
First Friday with Bishop Gruss
Come celebrate the monthly gathering, known as First Friday with Bishop Robert Gruss. Mass begins at 11:00 a.m. and takes place at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw. ALL ARE WELCOME to attend Mass without registering. Following Mass, you are invited to join Bishop Gruss for a meatless lunch at noon and an informal presentation. Due to limited seating of 150 in the Lower Level of the Cathedral, please register if you plan to attend the presentation and lunch.

Advent Scripture Study with Fr Jose Cabrera
Just in time for Advent, join Fr. Jose Cabrera for an exploration of Scriptures connected with the beginning of the life of Jesus! Fr. Cabrera will be leading an exploration of the Infancy Narratives in the New Testament, drawing largely on insights from volume 3 of "Jesus of Nazareth" by Pope Benedict XVI. This seminar, perfectly timed as a preparation for the celebration of Christmas, will take place in Langley Hall, adjacent to St. James Church (All Saints Parish) in Bay City.

Men of Music Christmas Concert - Matinee
FREEWILL OFFERING: For the first time in 30 years, the Men of Music has a new venue for their annual Christmas concert. This free community concert, 2pm and 7pm on Sunday, December 10, will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Midland this year with a freewill offering to benefit the Midland County Food Assistance Network, formerly the Emergency Food Pantry Network. In the last 20 years, over $50,000 have been raised for the Food Assistance Network. Well over $100,000 have been raised at the Christmas concerts over the years for local charities.
