Holy Hours for Vocations with Bishop Gruss

Bishop Robert Gruss is encouraging the faithful to join him in a Holy Hour for vocations. He’ll be in two parishes across the diocese each month.

Bishop Gruss will be bringing with him a relic of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, for veneration (learn more about what veneration means here: https://saginaw.org/veneration).

Film about St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

All are welcome to attend a free showing of a film about St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta on Monday, June 24 at the historic Court Street Theater, 1216 Court St. in Saginaw. The evening begins with a Rosary at 6:30 pm followed by the movie on St. Mother Teresa – the favorite saint of Father Baltha Raj Bandaru. We will be honoring Father Raj for his contributions to the World Apostolate of Fatima with a cake and sharing best wishes on his new priestly assignment in his home diocese in India.

Preparing for a Covenant marriage between God, and an engaged couple provides a solid foundation for moving forward as you journey together as husband and wife with Christ at the center of your relationship & marriage. Engaged couples in need of marriage preparation are invited to attend this one day event which will offer you time to hear presentations by other couples and a Priest on: Marriage as a Sacrament and the Catholic Wedding ceremony, Family of Origin, the 5 Love Languages & 4 Temperaments, Conflict, problem solving, finances, Intimacy and Natural Family Planning.

Catholic Diocese of Saginaw’s Quo Vadis? camp experience

Registration is open for the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw’s Quo Vadis? camp experience. 

This action-packed two-day camp is open to young men who will be entering 9th – 12th grades in Fall 2024 – and is a cooperative effort between the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw and the Catholic Diocese of Gaylord.

During prayer and while taking part in a variety of outdoor activities and fun adventures, campers will have the opportunity to examine their lives, learn more about and share their faith and understand what it means to be a Christian man in today’s world.
