Join Fr. Jim Bessert's pastoral care training for priests/deacons/lay ecclesial ministers and all laity involved in the pastoral care of the sick, including a roll out of the new edition of the USCCB pastoral care ritual book which is obligatory to use as of Easter 2026.. This will be a valuable workshop for anyone involved in the pastoral care of the sick and the dying. The Saturday, March 21, 2026 workshop begins at 9 am at the Center for Ministry and concludes at noon. There is no cost for this workshop. Register via Eventbrite link or call 989-797-6662.

Safe Environment training is required for all diocesan, parish, and school employees and volunteers in contact with minors. All are welcome.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign in to ensure the on-time beginning of the presentation.

The Diocesan Lay Ministry Formation is a four-year process that offers the participant an opportunity to live into their baptismal call.
