Diocese to celebrate ‘9 Days for Life’

From January 21 to 29, the Diocese of Saginaw will celebrate “9 Days for Life.” Faithful will gather at eight designated parishes across the Diocese to pray for and raise awareness of respect for all human life.

The 9 Days for Life will open with the Knights of Columbus Novena for Life on January 21 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw. The Novena for Life will then continue at seven additional designated parishes each day until the final day on January 29 at the Cathedral. The Knights of Columbus Councils from the designated parishes will lead each Novena, which may be followed by an event planned by the parish, such as Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary and more. Each parish will also livestream their events.

In addition, formation and lesson plan packets will be shared with schools, youth and campus ministers, formation leaders and home school families to share Catholic beliefs and teaching on the Dignity and Sanctity of all Human Life. In January, the packets will be available on this page.
