Diocese of Lansing releases names of Clergy Credibly Accused of Abusing a Minor, Name of Deceased Priest added to Saginaw list  

SAGINAW — The Diocese of Lansing today released names of priests credibly accused of abusing a minor. One deceased priest named on their list served in the Diocese of Saginaw. While the alleged abuse did not occur in the Diocese of Saginaw, it is the policy of the diocese to list names of all clergy credibly accused of abusing a minor, who served within the Diocese of Saginaw, whether the abuse occurred within the diocese or not.   

The following name and information has been added to the Diocese of Saginaw website: Chester Vincent Tomaszewski. He served as a parochial vicar at St. Stanislaus Church in Bay City in the early 1970s. He was ordained in 1957 and died in 1987. The following is a list of his assignments, as provided by the Diocese of Lansing:
