Aug. 19-Oct. 28 - Holy Spirit Bible Study - Acts of the Apostles: The Early Church, 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays (Aug. 19 and 26; Sept. 2, 9 and 30; and Oct. 7, 21 and 28), St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 3680 S. Washington Rd., Saginaw, MI 48601. Led by Fr. Alberto Vargas. He explores the birth and growth of the early Church. Discover the mission of the Apostles and how to be Missionary disciples as we grow as disciples. Learn practical reflections for living the Gospel today.

Dedicate an hour to invoke the Holy Spirit in the presence of the Eucharist. Reconciliation will be available along with the opportunity to have a prayer team pray with and for you and your intentions.

"...what God has joined together..." The Diocese of Saginaw celebrates the Sacrament of Matrimony. Couples celebrating milestone anniversaries anytime in 2026 (beginning with 5 years and in 5-year increments thereafter) are welcome to join along with their children and their families. Bishop Gruss will celebrate Mass at 2:00 p.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 5376 State St, Saginaw, and a reception will follow at the Center for Ministry, 5802 Weiss St, Saginaw. The First Annual St. Brigid Golf Outing will benefit St. Brigid Catholic School. The cost of $80 per player ($320 per foursome) includes 18 holes of golf with cart, hot dogs and chips on the course, and dinner following golf.
