Tenebrae: The Service of Shadows

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish invites you to Tenebrae: The Service of Shadows, on Friday, April 3 at 8:00 pm. Tenebrae is a candlelight service of contemplative music, prayer, and scripture that brings Good Friday to a quiet close. Come and join as we reflect upon Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross through the profound symbolism of light and darkness.

All are welcome. Please feel free to invite a friend or neighbor to join us for this ecumenical service.

On April 25, fathers and sons are invited to a day-long discernment pilgrimage in Detroit hosted by the Vocation Office. This is a great opportunity for young men to be introduced to vocational discernment with the encouraging presence of their fathers. During this trip, we will visit Sacred Heart Seminary and the Solanus Casey Center. We hope this will be a wonderful opportunity for fathers and sons to grow in the faith together!
