Would you like to enhance your parish marriage preparation ministry? An assessment tool like Prepare & Enrich is an important part of the marriage preparation process. This training is suitable for lay individuals, married couples, and clergy. As part of the training, each participant will learn how to administer the online assessment, interpret the couples' report, offer feedback, teach relationship skills, and work effectively with engaged married couples. The cost of $125 (per person or married couple) includes lunch, training manual, and all materials.

Join us for an entertaining evening with Elvis Tribute Artist Jake Slater as he performs some of Elvis' greatest hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s! Proceeds from this event will support youth ministry at Assumption Parish. 

Doors will open early for social time before the concert. Beverages and food will be available for purchase.

The relics of St. Thérèse will travel the U.S. this fall. The reliquary containing some of her bones first came from France to the U.S. in 1999 and drew more than 1 million people in 25 states. The relics were at Shrine in 1999 and drew more than 75,000 visitors in one day. Now, 25 years later, it is a special blessing that the reliquary will be visiting the U.S. during the 100th anniversary year of her canonization and for the Jubilee Year of the Church, according to the tour’s U.S. coordinator, Fr.

A women's retreat for the Jubilee year of Hope. Retreat Leader, Kerri Tarrant first talk entitled "Staying Anchored to God followed by a second talk entitled Embracing and Extending God's Mercy in our Daily lives. Rosary, Mass sacrament of Confession, lunch and a guided meditation all are included with this one day retreat!

Are you a parent who has lost a child and would appreciate support? 

Whether it happens through miscarriage, stillbirth, or later in life, the death of a child is a deep and tragic loss for parents – and for their hopes and dreams for the future. No matter what the age, cause of death, or how much time has passed, the grief over the loss of a child weighs heavily on the hearts of parents.

Safe Environment training is required for all diocesan, parish and school employees and volunteers in contact with minors. All are welcome. Please arrive 10 minutes early to sign in to ensure the on-time beginning of the presentation.

Please join Bishop Gruss and clergy of the Diocese of Saginaw for an Evening of Healing with the Divine Physician. Although many people join us for the entire evening, feel free to join us for any part of the experience.
