First Friday with Bishop Gruss
Come celebrate the monthly gathering, known as First Friday with Bishop Robert Gruss. Mass begins at 11:00 a.m. and takes place at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw. ALL ARE WELCOME to attend Mass without registering. Following Mass, you are invited to join Bishop Gruss for a meatless lunch at noon and an informal presentation. Due to limited seating of 150 in the Lower Level of the Cathedral, please register if you plan to attend the presentation and lunch.

Holy Hours for Vocations with Bishop Gruss
Bishop Robert Gruss is encouraging the faithful to join him in a Holy Hour for vocations. He’ll be in two parishes across the diocese each month.
Bishop Gruss will be bringing with him a relic of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, for veneration (learn more about what veneration means here: https://saginaw.org/veneration).

Love for Lukulu and Beyond is calling on Jesus’ behalf, men and women who may be desiring and waiting to have a life changing encounter with the Lord and his people. It is our desire that you will not be afraid to respond to His call to come closer and follow Him to serve God’s children who live in the African villages of the Lukulu and Mitete districts of Zambia.

Lay Ecclesial Ministry Mid-Winter Retreat 2025
The theme for the Lay Ecclesial Ministry Mid-Winter Retreat is "The Saints' Guide to Inner Peace and Happiness" based on a book by Robert Ellsberg. The presenter is Fr. Bert Gohm, and he will be using the image of learning...to be alive, to let go, to work, to sit still, to suffer, to love, to die, and to see.
The cost is $195 for a private room or $330 for a married couple, $175 for a semi-private room, or $135 for a commuter.
This includes four meals, two socials, and beverages.

Women's Silent Retreat - Go Deeper with God
This retreat is a wonderful opportunity to go deeper with God and awaken the spirit within. This will be a time to reflect with God in silence and experience many ways to open your heart during Lent. There will be times to journal, express your creativity, experience silent prayer, and participate in spiritual direction if you choose. The cost is $190 for a private room, $170 for a semi-private room, or $110 for a commuter, and includes four meals and two socials. Retreat leaders are Mary Jo Kerlin, Jean Thiele, and Stacey Trapani.
