All Holy Hours are from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Bishop Robert Gruss is encouraging the faithful to join him in a Holy Hour for vocations. He’ll be in two parishes across the diocese each month.

Bishop Gruss will be bringing with him a relic of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, for veneration (learn more about what veneration means here: https://saginaw.org/veneration).  

All women of the Diocese are invited to attend this Annual Meeting of the Saginaw Diocesan Council of Catholic Women on Wednesday, September 16, at the Center for Ministry in Saginaw. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. Kelly Hadd from the Office of Marriage & Family Life of the Diocese and Fr. Stephen Blaxton will be the speakers. Bishop Gruss will celebrate the unique Catholic culture of rural life with Mass and a luncheon. All are welcome! The luncheon is supported through free will offerings. Registration is encouraged.

Dedicate an hour to invoke the Holy Spirit in the presence of the Eucharist. Reconciliation will be available along with the opportunity to have a prayer team pray with and for you and your intentions.

Do you feel a special call to minister to those who have experienced loss? The Diocese has developed a 7-week Grief Recovery Series that is meant to be facilitated at parishes. To become a facilitator of this series, you simply need to be a caring, faithful person who wants to help others. Having experienced loss yourself can add an even stronger connection with the ministry. This training supports both new facilitators and seasoned facilitators who want to refresh their knowledge of this ministry.
