Join Fr. Jim Bessert's pastoral care training for priests/deacons/lay ecclesial ministers and all laity involved in the pastoral care of the sick, including a roll out of the new edition of the USCCB pastoral care ritual book which is obligatory to use as of Easter 2026.. This will be a valuable workshop for anyone involved in the pastoral care of the sick and the dying. The Saturday, March 21, 2026 workshop begins at 9 am at the Center for Ministry and concludes at noon. There is no cost for this workshop. Register via Eventbrite link or call 989-797-6662.

This workshop features presentations by trained marriage facilitators, practical couple exercises, private discussion and prayer. At the conclusion of the workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion to copy and give to your parish. The cost is $90 per couple and includes lunch. This tour will be focused on Contemporary Bibles. From year 2000 to present time.

On April 25, fathers and sons are invited to a day-long discernment pilgrimage in Detroit hosted by the Vocation Office. This is a great opportunity for young men to be introduced to vocational discernment with the encouraging presence of their fathers. During this trip, we will visit Sacred Heart Seminary and the Solanus Casey Center. We hope this will be a wonderful opportunity for fathers and sons to grow in the faith together! The intended age group is sons in 6th grade - 12th grade along with their fathers.
